In this class we will be focusing on the improvement of each student's reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills. This website is to be used as a resource in finding further information for this class as well as a resource for learning and achievement. You will find sections pertaining to students, parents, my teaching philosophy and other background information on myself.
There is also a section designated for teachers. This section offers different types of micro-teaching strategies I have created and also adopted from a past textbook: Beyond Methods: Macrostrategies for Language Teaching written by B. Kumaravadivelu. . Each of these strategies pertains to specific categories i.e. "How to Promote Learner Autonomy" (Kuma 145) and can be useful in creating exciting lessons and alternative assessment.
